Developmental Disabilities Care A home that grows independence.

Young adults 18+ · Skill building · Community life · DDA coordination

At GuaranteeCare, young adults with developmental disabilities live in a real home — with everyday routines, patient coaching, and room to practice the skills that lead toward the life they want.

What this care is

Support that feels personal — and moves forward.

Developmental disabilities care at GuaranteeCare is for adults 18+ who need a steady, respectful home while they strengthen independence. As a licensed six-bed Adult Family Home, staff can learn each person’s preferences, pace, and goals — instead of rushing through a crowded schedule. Days blend personal care, household routines, skill practice, appointments, and community time. Progress shows up in real life: making breakfast, managing a calendar, running errands, joining an activity, or simply feeling confident in a familiar place.

Families, guardians, and DDA case managers often look for a setting that is smaller than an institution, clearer than living alone, and warmer than a clinical environment — with consistent coaching and the right amount of help at every step.

How we support

Everyday skills. Real community. Steady relationships.

Support is individualized. Some residents need more coaching with mornings and medication reminders. Others are ready for community time, vocational goals, or social connection. The plan follows the person.

Everyday living skills

Personal routines, hygiene, meal participation, laundry, room care, and the practical habits that make a day feel orderly and dignified.

Independence at a comfortable pace

Skill practice is encouraged without pressure. Residents try new responsibilities when they are ready, with staff nearby to coach and celebrate progress.

Community life & errands

Appointments, shopping, parks, local activities, and outings that help residents stay connected to Marysville and nearby communities.

One-to-one connection

With only six residents, staff can notice mood, preferences, and small wins — and offer focused attention when someone needs it.

DDA coordination

We work with Developmental Disabilities Administration case managers, families, and guardians so goals, funding conversations, and day-to-day support stay aligned.

Belonging in a real home

Shared meals, familiar faces, and a house that feels lived-in — not a hallway of rooms. Dignity and respect are part of the daily culture.

A day in the home

Routines that teach — without feeling clinical.

Mornings often start with personal care, breakfast, and preparing for the day’s activities or appointments. Midday may include skill practice, community participation, or quiet time at home. Afternoons and evenings make room for hobbies, connection, dinner, and winding down in a predictable way.

What matters most is consistency: residents know what to expect, and staff know how to support each person’s goals without stripping the day of warmth or choice.

  1. Morning foundation

Personal routines, breakfast, medication support as needed, and a calm start that sets the tone for the day.

  2. Skills & participation

Household tasks, appointments, community outings, leisure, and practice with communication or decision-making.

  3. Evening belonging

Shared meals, downtime, social connection, and a familiar wind-down so tomorrow feels steady too.
